A Taweret (tou-er-ET; Anc. Egypt. "she who is great" or "great one") is a hippopotamus-like Wesen that appeared in "The Seven Year Itch".
Characteristics[]
Based upon the only Taweret seen so far, they may have a tendency to be heavy set while in their human form. When they woge, Taweret grow several feet in height and gain a hippopotamus-like head. They do not lose the hair on their head in their woged forms. Their mouth is quite large, able to fit a fully grown man's head in it. Similarly, they have extremely powerful jaw strength and bite force, allowing them to even bite off the head of their victims. They can use their height as leverage against shorter foes, which is typically the case for the foes when faced with a Taweret, allowing Taweret additional ease in biting off a victim's head. Their teeth are peg-like with space between each one, and larger and smaller teeth alternate inside their mouth. Additionally, their skin tone is largely gray, and the digits on their hands do not change significantly other than increasing in size in proportion to the rest of the growth their body experiences when they woge.
Behavior[]
Taweret appear to be a laid-back and easygoing species. They are not inherently belligerent, but they will defend themselves when threatened, even if it means killing their aggressor. Females are social beings who take very kindly to chivalrous gestures.
