Serum Exomologesis
Purpose: Force canid Wesen to confess their sins
TV Show: "The Hour of Death"

Serum Exomologesis was specifically developed for canid Wesen, like Blutbaden or Schakals. It causes the patient to confess their sins, even against their will. Originally developed in the thirteenth century by a priest who entered it into the water supply, this serum helped boost the popularity of some religions in Eastern European nations. According to Monroe, Notre Dame was paid for by the confessions of the townsfolk as a result from the serum.

In "The Hour of Death", Nick asks Monroe for something to force Adrian Zayne to confess the whereabouts of Donna Reynolds.

  • 14 oz sage root.
  • 1 oz oil of berdunken.
  • 18 oz gonoelan beans.
  • 20 oz taro seed oil.
  • 1 pinch dried goat glands.
  • 3 drops nectar of klander root.
  • 3 tablespoons witch hazel.
  • 5 tablespoons cider vinegar.
  • 5 tablespoons holy water.
  • 15 drops bergamot oil.

Bring a small pot of water to boil and submerge the sage root for 2-3 minutes or until softened. Plunge the sage root into ice water to stop the cooking process. Next, in a small mortar, grind the gonoelan beans into a powder and simmer in 1 tablespoon of oil of berdunken until nicely thickened. Set aside to cool. Whisk together the taro seed oil, goat gland, and klander root. Combine this mixture with the bean reduction, witch hazel, cider vinegar, holy water, and 4 tablespoons of the bergamot oil. Pour over the cooled sage and preserve immediately.
