Sam Tomas was an Aswang that appeared in "Mommy Dearest".

Sam talking with his wife, Dana, about their future child! and goes to get her medication. When he returns, he finds police coming in and out of his home and is told that his wife had been attacked.
At the hospital with his wife, Sam calls his brother in Manila. Telling his brother that his mother was Portland, he tells his brother that he "won't do this" anymore, which his brother believes his merely delaying the inevitable. Sam then woges into an Aswang in frustration and has his brother find out where Lani is staying.
After being told by his brother that Lani was in the Viking Motel, Sam confronts his mother. He tells her that he will not hurt Dana and that he will not help her. Sam is reminded of Lani's imminent death if he does not allow her to consume Dan's unborn child, but he still refuses, saying that he will not be a part of the old traditions. He then hands his mother a plane ticket back to Manila and leaves.
Back at his house, Sam is taking care of his wife when he hears a ticking noise. Turning around, he is attacked by Lani in her Aswang form and is knocked down the stairs, knocking him unconscious.
