He made his home in a tunnel on an abandoned railroad branch line. He collected copper, and his home was full of it. He killed Stu Oliver and his brother, Joe Oliver, when they were attempting to steal some copper material in an abandoned warehouse. He returned to the scene of the crime for the copper and attacked Lance Truman, which prompted Nick, Hank, and Wu to arrive to investigate. He sprayed Wu and Hank with his lipids and nearly burned Nick. Soon after this incident, Jordan Vance called Nick to tell him he got DNA results on Fred's lipids from the murder scene with the two brothers, which identified Fred as their prime suspect.
Nick was able to locate Fred's dwelling through Ariel, who lead him there after she kidnapped Juliette. Fred ended up being killed by Nick, who impaled him with a copper pole as he was trying to burn the Grimm to death. |
