Is there are reason you reverted my edit to the Wesen page? The second 'e' in 'wesen' is pronounced as a schwa almost 100% of the time in the show. Schwas appear in the pronunication guides on other pages on this wiki, so what's the problem here?
I added some information to the Woman in Black page the other day and Grimmaniac did an immediate revert to that page too. He later agreed that it was valid and added it back in (though that was under his name; so the edit history makes it look like my contribution was worthy of removal). I have some free time at the moment and wanted to help tidy up/add to the wiki, but I must admit it's a little bit frustrating to have my edits immediately removed with no indication as to why.
Hey Zooblazer! With UCP coming to the Grimm Wiki soon, the FANDOM team is hoping to retire Tabview use on this wiki; after migration, the TabVie may have problems working with the new platform.
To can get your community ready as quickly as possible, how do you feel of replacing TabView on the Season pages (or whereever else) with an alternative. For options available, you can check out a Best Practice preferred method and we can come up with a solution to replace TabView. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks!
Hey! Writing to let you know that Chat will be disabled in UCP, and in light of that, do you think the Wiki will still need a chat function> If you think it is important, you can try setting up a Discord; if it isn't, you can go ahead and ignore this message!
Hi! I've seen the infoboxes could use an update, and I was thinking of converting all the current infoboxes into portable. With portable infoboxes, it will make editing more fluid, accessible, and easier to modify. I asked Grimmaniac about it and was recommended to ask you how you feel. If you're up for portable, I can handle migrations, and make it so the design stays the same.
How are you doing? I'm sharing with you an important message about the upcoming United Community Platform (UCP) this year. As you know, FANDOM and Gamepedia will receive a huge renovation for improvements of editor/user/visitor experience planned to allow all extensions currently available to the MediaWiki engine. And due to that, the community will be going through phases of the development. To stay up to date about these upcoming changes, the blog is available for you to reference. Additionally, please be on the lookout for UCP phase releases and keep the users informed. For any questions and others, as always, please don't hesitate to message me about them, and I will be happy to answer them for you!
Hi there! Quick update on FANDOM's end-of-the-year term. First, there will be changes with featured videos: as of the end of this December, "Featured" Video will be receiving some trial run experiments in hopes of improving its quality, reasons being that videos featured on a page tend to be outdated or spout all the information the user can already read on the article. The main goal will be to figure out how to complement wiki content. Because of that, you might receive a video called "The Loop" play for anonymous users, which will be meant purely to collect visitation data in the vein of the Global Taxonomy method. It won't affect all users, so you might not notice. But if you want to learn more, you can go to the blog post. For more info on Fandom's year in review, you can check out the community post. Let me know if you have any questions, and happy holidays!
Hi again! I'm writing to let you know about the Global Taxonomy. This is a feature that accumulates wikis a user visits into a list of recommended wikis tailored to them. In this context, it'll attract fans and newcomers to the wiki! You can read more about it on the blog, plus if you're interested in template use, you can check out this link, too. Hope you find them helpful!
Hi again! I'm happy to tell you that there's a new Editor Rewards program honoring the hard work of users with awards those that have gained recognition for their contributions. Details are on this blog post. If you could give some feedback at this blog post, it would be greatly appreciated. Please message me if you have any questions!
Hi again! I would like to inform you there is a new Special:Analytics page you can request and access on the admin dashboard! In this way, you can use it to keep track of the number of edits daily, and which users are contributing. More info is available on the Help:Analytics dashboard and the blog post. If you already knew about it but have any questions, let me know!
