Hi there! Noticing the infoboxes could use an update, I was thinking of converting all the current infoboxes into portable. With portable infoboxes, it will make editing more fluid, accessible, and easier to modify. How do you feel about updating them? I can handle migrations to portable if you are fine using portable infoboxes. Also, if you want to keep the design the same, I can do that as well!
Hey there! I've been tasked to omit the "Home" title that appears on the main page. But nothing to worry about this being a major change; this is meant to improve search engine optimization (the ability to detect the wiki on search engines) and decreed by FANDOM. The rest of the header will remain the same so you don't have to worry about this impacting the main page!
How are you doing? I'm sharing with you an important message about the upcoming United Community Platform (UCP) this year. As you know, FANDOM and Gamepedia will receive a huge renovation for improvements of editor/user/visitor experience planned to allow all extensions currently available to the MediaWiki engine. And due to that, the community will be going through phases of the development. To stay up to date about these upcoming changes, the blog is available for you to reference. Additionally, please be on the lookout for UCP phase releases and keep the users informed. For any questions and others, as always, please don't hesitate to message me about them, and I will be happy to answer them for you!
Hi there! Quick update on FANDOM's end-of-the-year term. First, there will be changes with featured videos: as of the end of this December, "Featured" Video will be receiving some trial run experiments in hopes of improving its quality, reasons being that videos featured on a page tend to be outdated or spout all the information the user can already read on the article. The main goal will be to figure out how to complement wiki content. Because of that, you might receive a video called "The Loop" play for anonymous users, which will be meant purely to collect visitation data in the vein of the Global Taxonomy method. It won't affect all users, so you might not notice. But if you want to learn more, you can go to the blog post. For more info on Fandom's year in review, you can check out the community post. Let me know if you have any questions, and happy holidays!
Hi again! I'm writing to let you know about the Global Taxonomy. This is a feature that accumulates wikis a user visits into a list of recommended wikis tailored to them. In this context, it'll attract fans and newcomers to the wiki! You can read more about it on the blog, plus if you're interested in template use, you can check out this link, too. Hope you find them helpful!
Hi, I wanted to ask. What do you think about a page called Team Grimm? Since to be honest Nick would had been dead long ago....maybe really lost in his surroundings without everyone in Team Grimm. How many people would actually talk to Nick as a cop if they only saw he as a Grimm?
I would not count Sean as a member in Team Grimm more of when beneficial for him.
While it's true that Nick certainly had a lot of help early on as a Grimm, it's not really necessary to create a new article for it. This would have been created long ago on the wiki if that was the case.
I did change the name as I was wondering a couple of things. Why do some characters have this kind of page while some characters have their own page even if they were One-Shot Characters as well? Why do not all characters have a page?

Sorry for the late reply. Some characters are co-stars because they were credited that way in the episode, while others were credited as guest stars, a more significant role in the episode, hence a character page. Co-stars that appeared in more than one episode, however, have an article dedicated to them.

Also. I wanted to ask, Ariel did not say she didn't like Grimms, and liked Nick she did say. Grimms are bad-asses. And that's kind of a turn-on.
Should Lily and her brothers be added at most as foster siblings as they consider themselves to be siblings and they are not blood related or adoptive.
On a personal level I would had loved if Lily did return on Season 6 and she was rrevealed to be Rosalee's daughter or she was adopted by Rosalee and Monroe.
Deleted scenes are not canon, so that is the main reason for not including information about them here (I think!). On your question with Lily and her brothers, it's fair to ask, but they didn't live in a foster home, and siblings is the best way to describe them given the nature of their relationship. I hoped we would see those characters again as well, but I guess that's a testament to the good writing and development of those characters in that episode. Hopefully things ended up okay for them and Black Claw didn't have a lasting impact on them after they took them in.
Not much of that did make sense for me as I was on wikis and every character got a page makes no difference what the character had contributed on the episodes. But every wiki is a different universe. Thank you for giving a answer.
Eddie being Monroe's first name is not canon and has been something incorrectly spread or mentioned as fact by some of the Grimm fan base -- the story behind this is that it was in one of the early drafts of the Pilot episode, but eventually, this was scrapped. Silas Weir Mitchell has confirmed that Monroe is known only as just that on the show, "Monroe," and there were several clues throughout the show that alluded to his last name not being known; in a few cases, the writers kinda just jokingly teased the fans about it too. I kinda wish more Grimm fans paid attention to the Wiki on this particular topic so that the whole Eddie thing wouldn't be spread as fact, but if you need a few sources on Monroe being only known as Monroe, I can point you to a few examples or a site or two I used to reference on this.
I am saying that as the first name did appear on Season 1 on Disc 3 on the Special Features on the documentary "Making Monsters" where Silas is listed as "Eddie Monroe". If you don't believe me take a look yourself and if that was not a good reason. Than there is nothing to that.
Ah, yep I do actually remember seeing that. I can only chalk that up as being a mistake that wasn't caught/corrected unfortunately, but that definitely has only helped perpetuate the whole Eddie misnomer.
There is a small bit of trivia on Monroe's article that addresses his surname never being mentioned on the show, so rather than add to the whole Eddie confusion, I think it's probably best left to discussion threads, though maybe I'll tweet about it in the near future, seems like it actually might be a good idea.
Hi again! I'm happy to tell you that there's a new Editor Rewards program honoring the hard work of users with awards those that have gained recognition for their contributions. Details are on this blog post. If you could give some feedback at this blog post, it would be greatly appreciated. Please message me if you have any questions!
