John Kreski and his brother Miles were respected citizens of the community. They were also Wendigo and attempted to murder and eat a repairman, Craig Ferren. Ferren fought back, killing Miles and wounding John with a handgun. Ferren was sentenced to death for the murder of Miles Kreski. After Hank Griffin learns about Wesen, he begins to wonder if Ferren really did see the "monsters" he described. When Hank and Nick Burkhardt investigate and find human remains under John Kreski's house, Kreski attacks both and Hank shoots him dead in self-defense. Later, more human remains are found underground where John and Miles used to live.
