Jarold Kampfer is a Wieder Coyotl and an old friend of Hank Griffin's. They played football together in high school. After graduation, Jarold had Hank named as godfather to his daughter. He disgraced the family name of Hayden Walker, who is a Coyotl from a rival pack, by eloping with Lisa, Hayden's sister, in an attempt to spare her and their child together from the Aseveración.
He appeared in "Bad Moon Rising", when his daughter, Carly, was kidnapped by Walker, and he enlisted the help of Hank and Nick Burkhardt to get her back.

- His family name, 'Kampfer', is German for the word fighter, but lacks the umlaut (Kämpfer).
