An Indole Gentile (EEN-doh-lay jen-TEE-lay; It. "nature" + "kind") is a sweet, doe-faced (innocent-looking/non-threatening) Wesen that appeared in "The Grimm Who Stole Christmas".
Characteristics
When woged, Indole Gentile gain large eyes with dark pupils and long, thin eyebrows. Their ears become oval-shaped, almost elf-like, and their skin takes on a green tinge.
Unlike most Wesen, they do not appear to possess any physical enhancement whatsoever. However, there is a small group of Indole Gentile who experience a genetic disorder during adolescence called Kallikantzaroi.
Behavior
Sophia Katsaros was alarmed but not frightened when she saw that Nick was a Grimm. Indole Gentile were referred to by Monroe as "very nice people", and even Grimms consider them completely harmless. All the families shown in "The Grimm Who Stole Christmas" were Greek-American members of the Greek Orthodox Church.
