Revision as of 06:24, 24 March 2015

Check the results at Challonge or down below.

The Löwen Games are back! All Wesen species who appeared in "Pilot" though "Trial by Fire" are eligible to compete. No humans, Grimms, non-Wesen beings, comic Wesen, novel Wesen or Wesen mentioned/seen in the Grimm diaries only are eligible. Seeding was done using a random number generator. Numbers were assigned to each Wesen based on their names in alphabetical order. So Anubis was 1 and Ziegevolk was 69.

The rules:

  1. If you die, you lose.
  2. If you win, you live to fight another day.
  3. We are not responsible for band-aids or pain relievers. And if you get blinded, zombified, burned, or get any other non-life threatening injuries, toughen up.

Referee-Reporters

Matches will be assigned to each referee-reporter using a random number generator to help keep things balanced. The reporters write up the matches, and to avoid the possibility for the writers to sway the results based on their brackets, the results are heavily influenced by the Challonge polls, which are voted on by everyone who filled out a bracket. For example, if one Wesen receives 95% of the votes, then they would have a 95% chance of winning the fight, and if the Wesen with a 5% chance of winning were to win, the reporter would likely have to be much more creative in what they write up in order to explain the results.

If a reporter appears to be swaying the results in their write ups, they will be removed as a reporter.

First 10 (March 17-18)

March 17

Raub-Kondor vs. Ziegevolk

Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the first fight of this year's annual Löwen games! In this corner, utilizing his natural horns, quite popular with some of the ladies in the crowd, the Ziegevolk! And in this corner, wielding natural talons, keen eyesight, and the instincts of a hunter, the Raub-Kondor! Let the games begin!

The Raub-Kondor was the first to attack, backing the Ziegevolk into a corner and leaping on to him. The Ziegevolk was able to ram off the Raub-Kondor using his horns, but was left with a nasty tear on his face. The Ziegevolk then attempted to charge the Raub-Kondor, but she was able to avoid his attack and his his momentum to force him to the wall and pin him there. While he was pined to the wall, she was able to use her beak to tear his throat out. The Raub-Kondor won the match, but she appears to have an injured rib, and is also disoriented from the large amount of Ziegevolk pheromones she ingested.

Siegbarste vs. Phansigar

The victor was obvious to spectators from the very beginning. The Phansigar was begging for mercy as soon as he set his eyes on his opponent, who exuded confidence as she coolly returned the gaze. The Phansigar desperately attempted to begin to strangle the Siegbarste, but his attempt was futile. The Siegbarste allowed his tongue to wrap around her neck, then reached up and gruesomely tore the tongue away from the Komodo dragon Wesen, who immediately began screaming in agony and clutching at his face. As he writhed in the sand, the Siegbarste strode over, picked up the Wesen by his shirt, and ruthlessly threw the Phansigar against the cage like a discus, or perhaps a sack of meat.

March 18

Cracher-Mortel vs. Yaguaraté

Before the match, the Cracher-Mortel stated that he wanted to make it to the championship and win unlike his counterpart last year. Based on his first match, he looked determined. The match was over quickly. The Yaguaraté stood no chance once he realized he wasn't fast enough to attack the Cracher-Mortel before the Cracher-Mortel could spit his toxin. The Yaguaraté was hit squarely in the face less than 20 seconds into the match and dropped to the ground.

Scharfblicke vs. Wendigo

These two contestants were going to be very predictable. The Scharfblicke was just a clock maker who has never been in a fight. The Wendigo on the other hand was a serial killer, and he was a professional. Let the fighting begin!

The Wendigo ran at top speed, and the Scharfblicke tried to run too, but the Wendigo was faster and tackled the bird down. The Scharfblicke tried to scramble back up, but the Wendigo clutched his shirt, dragged him back, and turned him over. The Scharfblicke did everything he could to wrestle the Wendigo, but the Wendigo was too powerful, and pulled his arm up and cut deeply into his stomach, then right across his face, then a final fatal blow to the throat, killing him. The Wendigo laughed in excitement, and his fans roared with pleasure, and he bowed, thanking them.

Aswang vs. Murciélago

It was a more even battle than most in the early stages of the Löwen Games. Both competitors entered the cage confident in their abilities to win. As the match was signaled to begin, the Aswang extended her tongue, the Murciélago took a deep breath, and the knowing spectators put on earmuffs. Then the Murciélago's signature ear-splitting shriek thundered throughout the arena, causing the Aswang to drop and writhe in the sand. Soon its eyes bulged, then burst gruesomely. The Murciélago has moved on.

Round of 64 (March 19-20)

March 19

Gelumcaedus vs. Raub-Kondor

This may have been a good match if it weren't for the Raub-Kondor being in serious pain from her previous match. Her rib injury affected her too much and she was slowed down heavily. The Gelumcaedus walked up to her and bit off both of her arms before biting her neck, killing her.

Fuchsteufelwild vs. Lausenschlange

"This match was short but pretty evenly matched. The Fuchsteufelwild was a transgendered geek who was way too much into Star Trek. The Lausenschlange was an ex-Navy SEAL with extensive combat training. And he thought the Fuchsteufelwild would be impressed, but the goblin had no reaction to being told that."

The fight began and the two woged Wesen stared at each other for a moment. The Lausenschlange flicked out his tongue, and the Fuchsteufelwild filled the arena with a high pitched laugh. Annoyed, the Lausenschlange charged forward and tried to punch the Fuchsteufelwild, who neatly dropped onto his hand and kicked the Lausenschlange's legs with both feet, knocking him onto his knees. The Fuchsteufelwild quickly flipped back up and grabbed the Lausenschlange's neck collar. He woged his long acid claws and tried to thrust them into his side. The Lausenschlange raised his arm up and then caught the Fuchsteufelwild's arm, and got back up, kicking his stomach, then threw him down. The Fuchsteufelwild quickly recovered and pointed his long acid claws at the snake, laughing. The Lausenschlange became enraged and swiped, but the Fuchsteufelwild ducked, spun around, and stomped the Lausenschlange's foot, shaking the entire arena, and breaking his opponents foot. The Lausenschlange roared in pain and swung his arm back in a backhand motion, but the Fuchsteufelwild ducked. The goblin thrusted his hand towards the snake, who grabbed his wrist. The two Wesen grabbed each others shoulders and began to wrestle. The Fuchsteufelwild was just about to overpower the Lausenschlange, but then the Lausenschlange sprung his body forward, headbutting the Fuchsteufelwild off him, then kicked him down. The Lausenschlange flicked out his tongue as an insult, but the Fuchsteufelwild slowly got back up, clearly wounded from the powerful kick.

The Lausenschlange smiled, thinking he had the upper hand. He launched another punch, but the Fuchsteufelwild managed to knock his arm away. However, the Lausenschlange turned the goblin around and put him into a choke hold. The snake nearly choked the goblin to death, but the Fuchsteufelwild managed to stab the Lausenschlange's stomach, and turned around, cutting him in half. However, during the process, the Fuchsteufelwild broke his left wrist, which could majorly affect him in later fights.

Lebensauger vs. Drang-Zorn

Day three – fight three has a female Lebensauger opposing a female Drang-Zorn. That's not going to be a mud fight, but at least a girl-fight.

And it starts with a rush attack of the Lebensauger. She tries to wrap herself around her opponent. Upon woge she reveals the large gaping maw and tries to bite the Drang-Zorn in the neck. But it's no use, she just gets shrugged off, her opponent is far too strong. Next moment the Drang-Zorn grabs for the throat of the Lebensauger and nails her to the floor. With an awful sound she slams the Lebensauger's head to the ground only to continue with ripping her apart with her claws

Ehem, could someone stop her please? The whole Arena gets covered with blood and entrails…

The Drang-Zorn wins and is now in dire need of a shower…

Heftigauroch vs. Pflichttreue

This match was extremely close, with the Pflichttreue managing to land several nasty scratches across the Heftigauroch's arms and chest. Just when it seemed that it was all over, the Heftigauroch was able to muster enough effort to charge into the Pflichttreue, sending them flying across the field. A few well placed punches later, and the Pflichttreue was knocked out, enabling the Heftigauroch to use their sharp horns to finish off the job through the Pflichttreue's stomach.

Reinigen vs. Krampus

Whoever was in charge of picking out a member of each species to fight in the tournament did a terrible job when it came to the Reinigen. He had no desire to fight once he saw Krampus towering over him. Krampus gave one punch to the Reinigen's jaw, knocking him to the ground. Krampus then stepped on the Reinigen's head, crushing his skull.

Höllentier vs. Dämonfeuer

Well, this was an interesting match. The Dämonfeuer was an assassin, I heard from local sources a Maréchaussée, but we already have one (Manticore) set up for a future tournament. The fight began and the Höllentier woged. The first thing he did; pull out a knife. The Höllentier tried to stab the Dämonfeuer, who quickly grasped his arm, and knocked the knife away, then elbowed his face, and delivered a well placed kick to his midsection, sending him flying back. The Löwen referees shook their heads. I heard one of them say, "Dear god, how stupid can Höllentier's get..." Well as it turns out, very much so. The Dämonfeuer coughed up his lipids, as the Höllentier got back up. Desperate and dumb, the Höllentier charged at the Dämonfeuer, who easily caught the dumb hellhound and threw him down. He coughed all over the Höllentier. The Höllentier ignored this. "My god, he was as dumb as a pile of bricks," said a spectator. The Höllentier grabbed the Dämonfeuer and was just about to punch him. Then, a huge flaming... Wall of... Fire.... Shot out the Dämonfeuer's mouth, the sheer force blew the Höllentier back, and burnt him to death. The Dämonfeuer was then paid and given a much nicer meal than then other contestants. Cooked Raub-Kondor, I heard.

Fuchsbau vs. Hexenbiest

"The Löwen wanted a Zauberbiest, but the only Zauberbiest was a half Royal and was a police captain.... and that was going to be too high profile. So instead they kidnapped a young and powerful witch who was very knowledgeable in potions.... Wait, I wonder if fans want to hear the background or just hear about how the poor Fuchsbau was ripped to pieces."

The Fuchsbau charged at the Hexenbiest, who pushed him back, sending him flying backwards into the walls of the arena. He tried to get back up, but the Hexenbiest grabbed him with one hand by his throat, and proceeded to rip his head off in a way never seen before.

Bauerschwein vs. Nuckelavee

In the left corner the Nuckelavee prepares for the fight with some 'shadow-boxing'. My, does he have a right hook… In the other corner the Bauerschwein is trying to get rid of the last remnants of a mud bath. Where did they find that one? Whatever, the Referee calls to action and the fight starts.

With undeniable self-confidence the Nuckelavee steps slowly into the middle of the ring, while the knees of the poor Bauerschwein are shaking with fear. He lifts his fists in a desperate attempt to defend himself. Geez, they really should've got a cook with a meat cleaver rather than an errant boy…

At least it's over fast. It only took the Nuckelavee a few blows and the Bauerschwein got down. Now he makes use of his strong hooves and… urks, did you know a bursting skull sounds like an exploding watermelon? I sure didn't… Thanks for that info… Well… the Nuckelavee takes the win and the Bauerschwein is out of the game.

Excandesco vs. Siegbarste

Not even a mountain could stop the Excandesco. The Excandesco wanted to play a little trick on the Siegbarste. So she woged her hands. The Siegbarste approached her and went in for a killing punch. The Excandesco caught her arm and deeply burnt it. The Siegbarste howled in pain and delivered a powerful punch to the Excandesco's face, knocking her down, but having little effect on her. She picks her back up, but the Excandesco suddenly went up in flames and tackled the Siegbarste down, burning her. She slashed her face a few times, then gripped her throat, and held on tight as she burned her from the inside out.

Mauvais Dentes vs. Jinnamuru Xunte

The Mauvais Dentes had a much harder time with the Jinnamuru Xunte than he anticipated. The Jinnamuru Xunte charged at the Mauvais Dentes in the blink of an eye. The Mauvais Dentes grabbed a hold of the Jinnamuru Xunte and flipped him down. He charged, but the Jinnamuru Xunte scrambled back up and front flipped over the Mauvais Dentes. The Jinnamuru Xunte neatly landed and quickly turned. The Mauvais Dentes turned, and the Jinnamuru Xunte sprayed red worms at him. The Mauvais Dentes covered his face with his giant paw. Once the Jinnamuru Xunte was done spraying, the Mauvais Dentes smacked the Jinnamuru Xunte down in the face with a backhand. He charged, but the Jinnamuru Xunte rolled away and leaped onto the Mauvais Dentes' back, putting him into a choke hold. For the next few minutes, the Jinnamuru Xunte continuously tried to spray the worms into the Mauvais Dentes' face, but the Mauvais Dentes turned his head away each time. The Jinnamuru Xunte began to tire the Mauvais Dentes, when the Mauvais Dentes fell backwards and crushed the Jinnamuru Xunte. He rolled up, and tore the poor fly man apart.

Jägerbar vs. Skalengeck

The Skalengeck was a black belt in martial arts and she thought she could use that to her advantage in the tournament, but she was unlucky with her first match up. The Jägerbar was a very good athlete himself and was a player for the Portland Trail Blazers before he was brought to the tournament. He was about 6-7 inches taller and weighed 50-60 more pounds than his opponent. He was also just as fast, if not quicker. They got into some hand to hand combat for a a minute or so before the Jägerbar landed a knockout blow to the face of the Skalengeck. He then picked her up by her neck and snapped it.

Hässlich vs. Königschlange

In this fight we have a female Königschlange vs. a very ugly Hässlich. Geez and he even isn't woged yet. While the troll is pumping up and posing like a bodybuilder the woman is… Oh my, what is she doing? She throws her clutch aside, gets rid of her jewelry, take off her high heels and slips out of her… very sexy black sequined dress. I wonder what she was about to do, when she got… invited to participate…?

The Hässlich seems to have realized by now, what his opponent is doing and… well... he stares in wonder at the half-naked woman in front of him. Like most of the male spectators it seems by the way.

The woman makes a gesture for the Hässlich to try to get her. And he needn't to be told twice. With full speed and lifted fists he tries to get a hit on her, but she just sidesteps and laughs at him. Does he even know what kind of Wesen he is up against? Doesn't seem so.

The Hässlich makes another try at punching, but the Königschlange is much too fast for him. She jumps on his back, clasps her legs around his waist and woges. The Hässlich doesn’t even see it coming when her fangs sink into his throat. A few seconds later she lets go of him, steps aside and starts to get dressed again, ignoring the dying Hässlich behind her.

Taureus-Armenta vs. Cracher-Mortel

Today it's the second fight for the Cracher-Mortel and the first and maybe last for the Taureus-Armenta, since the former announced his strong will to win this tournament and his very fast win two days ago.

The Cracher-Mortel waits silently for his opponent to get ready. Maybe he wants this fight to be a little more challenging? The Taureus-Armenta roars and starts running towards the Cracher-Mortel. But before he can even so much as touch him, he gets a face full of the green goo. But that doesn't seem to stop him immediately. Taureus-Armenta are famous for their stubbornness in the face of certain death and this one seems to be no exception. His momentum keeps him moving forward till he slams into the Voodoo-Master. But he just throws a punch to the face of the Bull which now crashed onto the ground.

The Cracher-Mortel wins his second fight, but since he's shaking his right hand furiously and looks like he is in pain, he seems to have hurt himself with this punch. Too bad.

Skalenzahne vs. Spinnetod

The Spinnetod had a fighting chance against the Skalenzahne, and for four minutes she managed to fight evenly with the crocodile man. However, her four minutes of glory were up after... er... four minutes... and the Skalenzahne broke her arm and then bit out her neck.

El Cucuy vs. Balam

This was a very good match to have early in the tournament. Both fighters were getting multiple hits on each other and the fight was evenly matched for 15 minutes, but the Balam finally made a small mistake which the El Cucuy took advantage of. The Balam thought she had an opportunity to go for the kill, so she tried to bite the El Cucuy's throat, but the El Cucuy saw it coming and quickly dodged the attack and used her claws to tear apart the Balam.

Anubis vs. Eisbiber

Barely a fight. The Anubis tackled the Eisbiber down and advanced to the next round.

March 20

Schinderdiv vs. Wendigo

Not too much of a fight here, folks. The Wendigo, who is more used to preying on Kehrseite and weaker Wesen, was not used to having a tough challenger like the battle-hardened Schinderdiv. The cannibal Wesen sprang forward as the match began, but was thrown to the side quickly by the Schinderdiv. Confident, the Schinderdiv kicked the downed Wesen in the stomach before backing away and allowing it to breathe. The winded Wendigo took his time in getting up, keeping a wary eye on the boar Wesen. Unfortunately for him, the Schinderdiv, with deceptive speed, quickly jumped forward and gored the Wendigo in the neck. The Wesen struggled for a few moments, then ceased.

Musai vs. Indole Gentile

An interesting entrance we get to see today. Two securities covered in protective gear carrying a Musai into the ring, with her hands cuffed behind her back and a black hood over her head. Did she try to kiss the men?

No one pays attention to the Indole Gentile in the other corner; everyone is watching breathlessly, as the securities set the Musai free and hurry out of the arena. She’s definitely in a bad mood and screams out loud like a fury. The Indole Gentile just observes his opponent with his big eyes. Is he that coldblooded or is he just stupid? The Musai takes a leap at her opponent and presses her lips upon his. The Indole still seems to be dazed, but now under her spell. One moment, she looks like she’s gonna kiss him again, next she starts to suffocate him. She IS in a bad mood. The Indole never tries to put up a fight and eventually the Musai wins.

Geier vs. Koschie

This match was over quickly as it seemed the Geier didn't know what a Koschie was. She charged him and the Koschie grabbed her arms, and gave her a heavy dose of radiation, killing her quickly.

Gedächtnis Esser vs. Matança Zumbido

Once the fight began, the Gedächtnis Esser, a spy and an assassin, nearly avoided and deflect any chance for the Matança Zumbido to electrocute him. He was very careful not to let the electrical eel grab a hold of him. After a few minutes the Gedächtnis Esser knocked the Matança Zumbido down, and got on top of him. The Matança Zumbido wrestled with him, but the Gedächtnis Esser overpowered him and attached his tentacles to his head, and began to steal his memories. The Gedächtnis Esser felt like the king of the world, closing his eyes and smiling. Suddenly, the Matança Zumbido grabs his shoulders, and pushes him up, detaching the tentacles from his head. The Gedächtnis Esser turned horrified, as the Matança Zumbdio grabbed his tentacles, and electrocuted tentacle man to a crisp. However, he does suffer from severe memory loss, and he sometimes gets very confused, which could cost him his life.

Luison vs. Seltenvogel

Wildermann vs. Glühenvolk

The poor Glühenvolk had no chance. He temporarily prevented his death with his luminescent skin, which distracted the Wildermann for a few seconds. Once the Wildermann was no longer distracted, he ran up to the Glühenvolk, picked him up, and through him against a wall below the stands. He then proceeded to pound him until the Glühenvolk was dead.

Dickfellig vs. Löwen

This fight is a classic match for Löwen Games. Both contestants look very well trained in combat and the fight is quite evenly matched. The Löwen tries to takes advantage of his claws, while the Dickfellig presses his opponent onto the walls with sheer force and his horn. This goes on about 15 minutes, but in the End the Dickfellig's strength takes the win and the Löwen gets crushed under its brute force and ends with his neck broken. But since it took the Dickfellig so long, he gained multiple deep cuts all over the body. Let’s see how that effects his next fight.

Mellifer vs. Manticore

The Löwen had the fight begin and the Manticore Maréchaussée woged. The Mellifer tried to woge as he put his hand in his pocket, but the Manticore shot his tail forward and pierced his chest, killing him. As the Mellifer dropped, the Manticore went out of woge and looked, not far from the Mellifer's hand, a Mellifer Stinger. The Löwen used this as a warning to those who might bring weapons into the arena. However, being a Maréchaussée, the Manticore bribed the Löwen into paying him, which I think I heard ended with Sauly being stung...

Luisant-Pêcheur vs. Murciélago

The covers above the watertank have been removed for this fight, since the Luisant-Pêcheur is a Watertype-Wesen. The Murciélago won his first fight quite easy and fast, let’s see if he can keep this up. The moment the fight starts, the Luisant-Pêcheur dashes to the waterside and dives out of view. The Murciélago just walks to the middle of the arena, woges and waits. But the Luisant doesn’t seem to want to leave the water. Well, after 10 Minutes the organizer raises a black flag and the water is set under high voltage. Uhh… The Murciélago wins and a well roasted Luisant-Pêcheur is carried out of the arena.

Mauzhertz vs. Klaustreich

The lucky Klaustreich had an easy match. The Mauzhertz had no interest in fighting, and instead just sat in the sand, waiting for his death. The Klaustreich ran up to him and gave him what he wanted, using his sharp claws and teeth.

Naiad vs. Blutbad

R: Roacher

Genio innocuo vs. Coyotl

Another bad match up for the day. The fans were hoping that the Genio innocuo wouldn't fall to his peaceful natural instincts, but that's exactly what happened. The Coyotl struck quickly and bit the Genio innocuo's throat before he even knew what was going on.

Stangebär vs. Seelengut

Next fight is between a Stangebär and a Seelengut, two rather friendly Wesen. But since this a Battle Royal there’s no easy way out. The Stangebär woges and erects his spikes. At least he looks like he is willing to try. But it’s an awful fight, like babies in Kindergarten fighting over sweets… Finally the Stangebär makes use of his Spikes and defeats the Seelengut.

Hundjäger vs. Wildesheer

Steinadler vs. Malin Fatal

The Steinadler was good at avoiding attacks from his opponent, an aggressive female Malin Fatal, but when he attacked she deflected him and got a few good hits on him. After some more ducking and avoiding, the Steinadler went in for the kill, when the Malin Fatal blocked a punch and clobbered the Steinadler several times in the chest and a powerful punch to the face. The Steinadler tried to react quickly, but the Malin Fatal squatted, then thrusts back up, cutting open the Steinadlers neck, gushing blood. Suddenly, the dying Steinadler managed to lunge forward and deeply stab his beak into the Malin Fatal's stomach, before collapsing, tearing deeper into her stomach. The Malin Fatal immediately collapsed, and after a few minutes she was determined to be dead, only for her to stumble back up. It is unknown if she will live long enough to play her next match.

Wældreór vs. Schakal

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final fight of round two. And it’s a special one indeed.

In one corner we have a Schakal and in the other a Wældreór. For those of you who don’t know this kind of Wesen, well it really isn’t a species per se, but it’s a disease-inflicted special form of a canid Wesen. So if the Schakal gets bitten or just in contact with the contaminated blood, he probably gets infected himself… The Wældreór seems to be in a very advanced state of infection, he drools uncontrollable and the Schakal wrinkles his nose in disgust. He tries to make a quick move and end this match fast, but the Wældreór is surprisingly agile. They wrestle and bare their fangs. The Schakal manages to grab the Wældreórs wrists, in return the infected Wesen tries to snatch his throat and gets kneed in the gut in return. The Wældreór sinks to the ground and his Woge dissolves for a moment. One moment too long it seems, as the Schakal seems to watch in horror who appears under that deformed Woge. Maybe that’s someone he knew? And yes, his hesitation gave the Wældreór the opportunity to sink an infected claw into his calf. Uh… that’s not good… The Schakal gets angry and rips his opponent finally apart… leaving the cleaning crew with a lot of work. We’ll return tomorrow with the next matches starting round 3. Have a good night y’all!

Round of 32 (March 21-22)

March 21

Gelumcaedus vs. Fuchsteufelwild

This was a very good match for awhile. Both fighters had good speed and each got multiple hits in on each other. Because of the Fuchsteufelwild's previous fight, they couldn't use their left wrist very well, so they tried to use their acid dripping nails of their right hand to slash the Gelumcaedus. However, the Gelumcaedus avoided all attacks, and the Fuchsteufelwild started to get tired. The Gelumcaedus took advantage of the Fuchsteufelwild's dwindling energy, and quickly bit off the Fuchsteufelwild's left hand and grabbed the Fuchsteufelwild right hand. He then forced the Fuchsteufelwild to stab themselves with their nails, before cutting a deep gash in their stomach, causing some things that should stay in the body to fall out.

Drang-Zorn vs. Heftigauroch

The Drang-Zorn was very aggressive and could barely contain herself on this fight. Unfortunately for her the Heftigauroch felt just the same. Oh good god... what the is the Drang-Zorn doing? That's unacceptable! She has her arms around the Heftigauroch and... kissing him? Oh my! She starts to bite him! She woges and bites his face! But the Heftigauroch woges as well and slams his head into her face, breaking her jaw. He kicks her between her legs! Ouch! He delivers a strong uppercut to the Drang-Zorn's chin, and she flies back and collapses. The Heftigauroch gets on top of the severely dazed Drang-Zorn, and repeatedly punches her face, until her face is covered in blood and her nose is... Oh that's just nasty! The Heftigauroch advances, but has deep cuts into his face from the Drang-Zorn's bite.

Excandesco vs. Mauvais Dentes

The Mauvais Dentes was rather confident of himself to kill the Excandesco before she could ignite herself. He made a quick approach and managed to get a clean hit at the Excandesco's chest. Only to throw himself some meters away as the fiery Wesen started to burn. The Mauvais Dentes tries to keep his distance for the Excandesco is literally burning with rage. He moves rather quick from one end of the arena to the other followed by the flames of fury. But the Excandesco seems to get slower. Looks like the wound is wearing her out slowly, but steadily. But the Mauvais Dentes is getting fatigued as well. He's breathing hard. No wonder, the fire consumes a lot of oxygen, there can't be much left in the pit down there. The fire turns out and the half naked woman shows her ripped chest. The wounds are cauterized but her knees are shaking a little. The Mauvais Dentes seems to see this as an opportunity and starts to approach the Excandesco again. He bares his fangs and grabs for the throat. Both go down, the Excandesco touching the ground. The Mauvais Dentes roars in excitement, but the next moment it turns to shrieks of agony as flames built up in the Excandesco's hands. The Mauvais Dentes gets embraced with iron hot arms and is set on fire. The Excandesco rolls to the side and rises to her feet, breathing hard as the fire goes out. She's alive, but this fight definitely took its toll.

Jägerbar vs. Königschlange

Cracher-Mortel vs. Skalenzahne

This match was a very good one. Both opponents were highly dangerous and either could have a chance to kill the other. The Cracher-Mortel had a hurt hand sustained from his last fight, but it seemed better today. Once the match began, the Skalenzahne was very careful. Neither opponent moved for a full minute, at which point the Löwen had to threaten them at gunpoint to fight. The Skalenzahne charged, and the Cracher-Mortel spat. The Skalenzahne just barely moved out of the green goo's way and swung his claws. The Cracher-Mortel barely ducked in time. He knew this was going to be a more physical fight than last time. He tried to spit again, but he missed. He would have to use his other abilities this time. The Skalenzahne tried to grab the Cracher-Mortel, but the Cracher-Mortel threw the Skalenzahne's arm off him and kicked his stomach. The Skalenzahne was unaffected and barreled forward, colliding into the Cracher-Mortel, slamming him into the ground. The Skalenzahne leaned in to bite, but the Cracher-Mortel put his arm up and pushed it against the Skalenzahne's forehead to keep him off. The two Wesen wrestled with all their might for 20 seconds. Then, the Cracher-Mortel jerked to the right and pushed the Skalenzahne off him and got back up. The Skalenzahne proceeded to get back up. The Cracher-Mortel took this opportunity to catch him off guard, and quickly spat in his face, sending the Skalenzahne convulsing into the sand as he dropped. The Cracher-Mortel's determination to get to the championship is paying off, having defeated one of the strongest Wesen on the bracket. It would be no surprise to see him get into the final.

El Cucuy vs. Anubis

March 22

Schinderdiv vs. Musai

This match was all about who landed their "attack" first. Would it be the Schinderdiv using his tusks or would the Musai be able to land a kiss on her opponent first? It turned out to be both. The match went quick as both Wesen ran at each other. The Musai landed a kiss, but it occurred at the same time the Schinderdiv was slicing her throat, killing her.

Koschie vs. Matança Zumbido

Both contestants have a very deadly touch. The Matança Zumbido seems still a little bit shaky after the Gedächtnis Esser fight. He turns his head and looks around as if he has to recall where he is and what's happening. The Koschie shows a nasty smile and grabs the arms of the confused Wesen from behind. He starts to glow green and the knowing audience is aware, that he's going to emit radiation. The Matança Zumbido yelps and automatically sends out impulses of high voltage in return. After a few seconds the Koschie is burned to a crisp. The Matança Zumbido wins, but he shows severe signs of radiation where the Koschie touched his skin.

Luison vs. Wildermann

R: Mr. Twizzler

Dickfellig vs. Manticore

The Dickfellig hadn't had much time to recover from his last fight. He looks tired and some of the wounds seems to be infected. The Manticore on the other hand looks as fresh as paint. No wonder the fight didn't last long. The Manticore hardly broke a sweat till he got the Dickfellig cornered and pierced his chest thus moving on to the next round.

Murciélago vs. Klaustreich

Although the Klaustreich was pretty speedy, his speed wasn't enough to land an attack on his opponent before he let out a very loud screech, causing the Klaustreich's eyes to explode among other horrific things.

Blutbad vs. Coyotl

R: Roacher

Stangebär vs. Wildesheer

The poor, poor Stangebär. He woged and hugged himself to have his quills stick out. The Wildesheer was so incredibly strong. He ran, lifted the Stangebär up, then grabbed his face, and let go of his body, before shaking him, snapping his neck, and throwing him down.

Malin Fatal vs. Schakal

What a clumsy match. Both contestants were so incredibly delirious and weak, it was still a fun match. The Malin Fatal collapsed onto the ground, entering in and out of consciousness. The Schakal woged and limped slowly towards his opponent. Then, suddenly, the Wældreór woged and picked the Malin Fatal up, and slashed her neck. The Malin Fatal barred downward and stabbed her tusks into the Schakal's stomach, and tore up, cutting open his chest. The Malin Fatal advanced to the next match.

However, sad news came in not just an hour ago. The Malin Fatal has died from her wounds. Now the Löwen have to figure out how to keep her place going.
