Alpe

The Alpe is the cause of insomnia and sleep paralysis in Germanic folklore. It first paralyzes its sleeping victim before using its tendrils to invade their brain and suck out the proteins that cleanse the brain in REM sleep. Without these nightly feedings, the Alpe goes mad. Unfortunately these attacks have just that effect on its victims.

Ataktos Fuse

Ataktos Fuse is the closest Wesen to being immortal. Once every seven years, the cicada-like creature emerges from underground to live for 24 hours before it must return to its resting place. When the Ataktos Fuse returns to the ground it must bring along a person large enough to provide food for the Wesen for the next seven years.

Cupiditas

There is nothing cute about this cherubic Wesen, they lean toward a demonic look. The only Wesen capable of creating the Amor de Infierno, a powerful love potion, Cupiditas is the inspiration of Cupid. But the Cupiditas isn't looking to bring people together, but instead to tear them apart with the most powerful drug -- love.

El Cuegle

A three-eyed, three-armed Wesen from Spain, El Cuegle sees the past, present and future with each of its eyes. With this great power comes great responsibility as El Cuegle is terrorized by visions of future violent acts. The only way to stop these events before they happen is to kidnap the perpetrator as a baby and eat them.

Gevatter Tod

The Gevatter Tod plays an important role in the aging Wesen community. When a Wesen succumbs to dementia, the family calls upon the Gevatter Tod to use its poisonous saliva to bring their loved one to a calm death. In this way, the deadly insect-like Wesen uses its biology for peace, rather than violence.

Kinoshimobe

Kinoshimobe is an environmental protector first observed in Japan. Working in a symbiotic relationship with the Jubokko tree, the Kinoshimobe any person found to be harming the forest and sacrifices them to the Jubokko tree. Those who do not respect the natural environment are punished by becoming trapped within it.

Strange Man

The most unique Wesen, the strange man represents modern-day science gone wrong. Stitched together from parts of other Wesen, the strange man combines the powers of Löwen, Gelumcaedus, Huntha Lami Muuaji and Pflichttreue, to create the most confounding murder scenes for even the most experienced Grimm/homicide detective.

Taweret

A hippo-like Wesen, the Taweret is enormous in size with a powerful jaw. You don't want to cross a Taweret because they will not hesitate to bite your head off, literally.

Zerstörer

Zerstörer, or destroyer, has traveled across the world and through other dimensions to piece together his staff that will give him unstoppable power. He destroys any creature and any world that gets in the way of him achieving supreme rule. Impervious to bullets and resistant to spells and potions, is Zerstörer the creature that cannot be defeated?
