'''Demons''' are type of being, what exactly they are is unknown, but they are not [[Wesen]]. The only known demon is [[Volcanalis (Character)|Volcanalis]]. They live in mountains and cause volcanoes to erupt. Their exact numbers are unknown, but there are apparently ones living in many major volcano's, as Wu found many cases of similar deaths, near said Volcanoes..

== Biology ==

Demons are about human height, however there body is made out of Molten rock, despite this they can move with great speed and agility. They generate incredible levels of heat, there mere presence causes the temperature in the area to rise, water to boil, plastic to melt and if close enough, objects to burn.

Due to there composition there immune to bullets, which simply melt. There heat is great enough to melt metal and burn all objects. They are also very strong creatures able to lift grown men into the air.

Demons have a link with the earth, in a unexplained way, using this they can track down there rocks if stolen. They can also manipulate the earth in other ways, if severally angered they cause volcanic eruptions, and are able to cause minor tremors in anger.

The only known way to kill one so far, was by dousing it with liquid Nitrogen, thus freezing it solid, then smashing to pieces. Despite this the creature will still be alive for a few moments after being smashed. Upon death they become volcanic glass, like obsidian.

Demons also live for an incredibly long time, Volcanalis was alive in 79 AD, and still alive almost two thousand years later.

== Behaviour ==

Demons are vengeful beings, and very possessive of "sacred rocks" they kill any who "steal" these rocks from them. There preferred method of killing, is grasping there victims, and thus cooking them alive. If angered substantially, they will cause volcanic eruptions and destroy the surrounding area. They show no regard for humans or wesen.

They live in mountains, and commonly travel underground, using this to sneak up on there victims, and despite there great destruction are able to move with great stealth, commonly surprising them.
