Now you've got me curious, when did Renard say he didn't have Hexenbiest powers? I suspected this but I don't remember him saying it specifically. Although we do know the boy will have enhanced strength, perhaps surpassing his father, as Grimms have enhanced strength but so do Zauberbiests. Combined that could be very dangerous... this kid might be more than Nick can handle.
It could also happen that the child becomes only a Grimm without any combination.
we should wait till boy become more that 24. you know male Grimms are above this age.
poor famle Girmms. hey dont have time to enjoy their life as well!!!
@Blutbau Fuchsbad
Not sure if he said that or not, but he moaned, that people always mix up Hexenbiester and Zauberbiester and that his blood (as a Zauberbiest) wasn't qualified to open the book. Only Hexenbiester could do that...
So maybe the 'strength' of Zauberbiester lie elsewhere?
@Mac - I sure hope so ;-))

I think this should be more detailed from the writers, perhaps a question on Twitter. If there's that much of a difference in powers maybe Zuberbiests should have their own separate page, or a Tabber. I'm really interested now, I'd like to know the differences.

Adalind took the hexenbiest suppression potion in the Spice Shop while she was pregnant. Will this have an affect on Nick's son? Could the child be without powers because of that potion?

One can only hope. One can only hope...
If so, I think the writers are going to make us think more and more that the kid will be a hybrid, just to make it seem like a huge shocker.
I'm beginning to think it will be a girl not a boy. Just because we are all so certain it is a boy. All we have is Adalind's word that it is a boy at this point.

My point exactly, except with species not gender.
