Esqueleto (Spanish: Skeleton):
A race of semi undead Wesen that are the basis for the calaca (skeleton) in Mexican folk-art and the Day Of The Dead. They are known for their devotion to their long gone loved ones and their free-spirited nature as well as their trademark festivals which they have every year between September and November.
They are free-spirited, full of holiday spirit, energetic and very easy going, they also care very deeply about their loved ones especially if said loved ones were very close to them at the time of their passing.
When woged their skin turns ghostly pale with very intricate markings on their faces, their features become sharper and slightly more ghoul-like in terms of looks, dark makeup appears around their eyes to give them a gaunt and hollow appearance and they grow taller and more lithe - sometimes they may sport a rose in their hair.
The significance of the rose is a reminder of their loved ones, in particular wives or husbands that may have left them or passed away. They are welcoming and respectful to Grimms and are eager to share their traditions with them.
Although technically semi-undead, they're not 'zombies' or 'ghouls', they're sort of in between in some aspects only they're not as gruesome. They are gentle and are mostly very kind and good-natured.
Übelvogel (Ger: Evil Bird):
A vampire finch-like Wesen that is native to the Galapagos islands, they are known for their bloodthirsty nature towards other bird-like Wesen species. It is never a good idea to cross their path especially if you happen to be a bird Wesen yourself, for they might see you as a potential meal.
They are sneaky, tricky, cruel and are generally despised by other Wesen species due to their nature. Their peculiar diet is due to them not being able to get freshwater from their location, and their technique is one way to get parasites out of plumage. But despite this there are mainly viewed as being predatorial.
They are a sexually dimorphic in look, as when woged males may have black feathers while females may have silvery feathers with brown streaks, but both genders when woged have their nose and mouth fuse together into a sharp beak. They also develop wing-like arms.
They are also known for their high intellect and often serve as criminals or hitmen/hit-women when it comes to their choice in occupation, they will usually peck at the skin of other bird-like Wesen until blood is drawn. Towards Grimms, they are usually very coy and well-mannered.
If you let me, i would like to propose an alternate woged form for the Esqueletos, as some extra details that i think it would fit as i'm mexican
When woged, their skin turns pale and translucent, letting to see the skeleton under this, except of some colored patterns that make their "skulls" to look "decorated" make it to look like the famous mexican calaveras that, in fact, they inspired, the sclera turns jet black and the eyes turn dark brown, in the case of the female the lips turns red although still translucent, in the case the males they loses their hair, even eyebrows and eyelashes, while maintaining beard and mustache, which darkens to become black, in the case of the female although also loses eyebrows and eyelashes, they maintains their hair, which becomes limp and darkens to become black, regardless of how it is in their human form.
A interesting fact about Esqueletos is their unbridled passion for the tagetes erecta, also known as mexican marigold, a common flower in Mexico that is traditionally ralated to the Día de Muertos, a mexican celebration that, according to some Wesen, was originally created to honor the Esqueletos and their ancestors. Their fascination with this flower reaches the point of wore it either as embroidered or jewelry or wearing actual flowers in the hair of the females and the clothes of the male.
Although their kind nature, in case of being menaced the Esqueletos have an feature deffense mechanism, the so-called Alegría de Muertos (Ah-leh-gree-ah deh moo-ehr-thos Sp. "Joy of Dead") an ethanol-like drug that they can exhale and cause the same effects that get drunk
i hope you like my suggestiion
