The mansion was provided by Black Claw for Renard as a place to live in during the mayoral election and once Renard won the mayorship. The mansion originally contained many Black Claw guards in and around the property. Bonaparte also lived there before his death, ("The Beginning of the End") and he helped Renard to eventually force Adalind to move in with Diana and Kelly. ("The Taming of the Wu")
After Black Claw was mostly wiped out in Portland ("The Beginning of the End") and following Nick using a Verfluchte Zwillingsschwester potion to abdicate Renard's mayorship after he won the election, Renard revealed that he planned to move out, ("El Cuegle") and he soon moved into a new house. ("The Seven Year Itch")
