A Bastet (BAHS-t; Anc. Egypt. bastt, from Arc. Egypt. bast "she of the ointment jar") is a Wesen first mentioned in "Once We Were Gods". It has not been revealed whether the Wesen is cat-like or lion-like. During the Ancient Egyptian Empire, Bastet were worshiped as the goddess of cats, the home, fire, joy, dance, music, and love.
