She spotted something large swimming in the water around them, and the creature scared them when they got a brief glimpse at its head fin. Elizabeth managed to take a picture of it, but Allan was killed by the creature after it knocked him off the boat into the water, much to Elizabeth's horror. Elizabeth later told Sheriff Doug Parcell what happened and showed him the picture she had taken, and she later spoke with Nick and Hank about the attack as well, informing the detectives that the boat they were in was rented from the Dunbar Bait Shop. Logan Cobb then came up to her and told her he heard what had happened and was sorry. She thanked the man, unaware that he was actually her husband's killer.
