So at the end of the very last episode of season six when Diana came in to the new trailer she was obviously referring to Nick as "dad" when she said "mom and dad are waiting." Right? does anyone want to speculate how they got there?
@Lucille55 truly i do enjoy arguing with you, i like people who hate to be wrong it means they don't giving up lol. sorry if i made you feel like we're at war. im not very warlike most of the time. i promise to be kinder next we debate.
No i'm not anger in the slightest i really did enjoy our debate i have no more points left to make and i'm already started to repeat myself sorry if it seemed as if i was anger
Okay, so i feel as if you're making this far more complex than it is to support you own beliefs in which case you refuse to see it any other way because you hate to be wrong ; or you and i watch two entirely different show with slight similarity then the convo is pointless. either way i feel as if we will never come to common ground on this matter (especially if its just the two of us arguing either side). you made some fair point but don't take offense to my viewing of them wrong and i wont take offense if you choose to do the same.
Lets argue again some time.
Yes Diana cares for both her mom and dad but if you remember she first that Sean was the one the chocked adalind. Do you this she would honestly let anyone hurt her mother or father even if it was each other?
And I at the point Diana isn’t his daughter than. At that point in Diana’s life she wants mommy and daddy to be together but she’s come to terms that is a child’s fantasy that will never happen. But she’s still child at that point smart yes but still a CHILD. Kids are smart about a lot of things but like Diana ( who btw was not a very well-adjusted child ) they’re still Ignorant to how life works. But Diana grows up in those 20 years and shes obviously more well-adjusted in a adult. ( she’s not using her magic all the time whenever she wants something to go her way). I’m sure I’m those 20 years she would finally allow Nick love her like a daughter then he would and she would love him as father figure in return. I’m sure when Diana learns she can’t use her magic to get everything she wants she learns she has enough love to go around.
@Lucille55 i was referring to when @Dragonfly82 said that Sean threaten Kelly and that Sean doesn’t care about adalinds wellbeing. Both show that Sean only cares about what benefits him. can he has the emotional capacity of a dictator. Thus he could possibly care enough about Kelly for Kelly to consider him a father figure of any capacity. Which makes it more likely that Diana was referring to nick as “dad” at the end of season six episode13.
@Lucille55 such as?
@Lucille55 like @Dragonfly82 said early Sean does have the emotional capacity to care for anyone beyond Diana and himself. so when Diana tells Kelly "mom and dad are waiting." (which i stated earlier imply's they share the same mom and dad) that she would be referring to Nick who has proven time and time again that he does have the emotional capacity to love Diana as his own.
Now a counter question: why is it so hard for you to believe that Diana could grow to ALSO love Nick as a father?
Nick didn't leave anyone in a different reality it was an illusion. the staff was testing Nick to see if he was worthy of it's power and when he proved he was the staff released him and Eve back through the mirror. zerstorer never actually came through to the real world because Eve and Nick never actually left the mirror. Diana can remember want happened because her powers were in tone with the power of the staff ( because they're equal in power). and Eve could go through the mirror because she's stronger than most hexenbiest but she isn't as strong as diana or the staff( that why the staff used her the way it did).
@Lucille55 That's not what i want at all. i think Sean is the best father for Diana (shes obviously the thing that ever happened to him.) she made that perfectly clear many times and i think that's really cute. but your wrong i think Diana would consider Nick a father especially because its so evident she called nick dad at the end of episode 13 of season 6. I a lot can change in 20 years (a lot can change in a day in this show) and it seems evident that Diana took up working in nicks family business. so unless you wear there i don't think "never" is a possibility.
Nick did save them all by not giving in to the desire to bring everyone back.
@Lucille55 I think its part of the reason she "would" call him dad, but not the whole reason. From the moment Nick met Diana he's tried to do whats best for her despite the way he felt about her mother or father at any given time. Still there are 20 years uncounted for; we don't know what happened during that time. we don't know how Diana's relationships with Nick and her parents changed and evolved over that time (Sean could have died or the royals could have come back). but i am certain that if Nick kept trying to protect her the way he has been then it wouldn't go unnoticed in Diana's eyes.
@Lucille55 Adalind and Sean might have been there but Nick and the other grimms saved Diana.
I’m in!😁
Yeah, but she was talking to Kelly when she said “mom and dad are waiting.” And they were going to go hunt Wesen. Why would wouldn’t she say “my dad” to Kelly instead of “dad”? I’m sure Kelly wouldn’t Consider Sean a father figure. But Diana would consider nick a father figure since she lives with him half the time. I’m pretty sure Sean wouldn't go hunting Wesen with adalind, Kelly, and the triplets without nick.

Hundjager or hexenbiest ... or a grimm ( which ik is wesen ).
@GrimmPower your right he did sleep on the couch then.
So, i realize that a lot of you thinks i'm referring to when Juliette became a hexenbiest in season four; but as i stated in my last post i'm referring to season two when Adalind's cat scratched Juliette putting her in a coma where all her memories of Nick were erased( which is auctally end of season one beginning of season two). so Nick's feelings toward hexenbiest don't apply to why Nick slept on the couch in season two when he could have slept in the guestroom. now I do understand that Juliette might not have been comfortable with Nick sleeping upstairs at first, but when nick offered to leave she told him to stay. so on some level she was comfortable enough to wanted him to stay, so why not stay in the guestroom because nick sleeping on the couch was causing unnecessary tension. To just put it out there Juliette moved in with Sean the same night she told nick she was a hexenbiest in season four because she knew Nick couldn't handle seeing her that way ( Nick's feelings toward hexenbiest does apply here), but nick never slept on the couch in season four. To be fair though i think if Juliette hadn't left the house in season four when nick found out she was a hexenbiest he wouldn't have kicked her out ( because they bought the house together) but he would have slept on the couch with one eye open.
The same thing happened in season one when Hap was staying with Monroe. Monroe made hap sleep on the couch instead of the guestroom that nick stayed in in season 2 when he found out that Juliette had feelings for Sean. that didn't really bother me as much because it kinda fits Hap's character to crash on a friends couch. now in season three when Adalind and Diana were on the run from royals and stayed with Monroe and Rosalie it's understandable that they had Adalind on the couch; she caused nothing but trouble for gang and just because she had a baby didn't mean they could trust her and Diana had some super strong magic for a 3/4 hexenbiest baby ( for any type of hexenbiest period.).
All i'm saying is that it's a noticeable production error that bothers someone like me who pay a lot of attention to detail.
So in the 2nd season when Juliette forgot nick...why was nick sleeping on the couch rather than they guess room that Trubel stayed in SE 3? It just bothers my so much!!! Especially in EP 6 of SE 2 when nick was bitching about sleeping on the couch!! Just sleep in the guess room damnit!
