If only fifth and sixth seasons started over, we'd have an adult Kelly from the future looking out for Nick while working with Hadrian's Wall against Black Claw.

Codenamed Apollo.

Fifth season he hides his identity in a mask, but shows bits of himself to Nick & Adalind when he gets close to his past self as a baby. He also keeps an eye on Eve/Juliette. He'd demand Bonaparte to undo the spell he did to his mother, but refuses, until Renard (controlled by Diana) kills the Zauberbiest.

Sixth season, Nick is hunted down and so "Apollo" would put him into a deep sleep as a means of hiding him. Posing as Nick (under his mask), he takes charge while Nick is in a dream-like realm, where Nick finds a kid version of Kelly. The dream reveals the future of when Renard takes control. Including the involvement of the stick that no one was entirely aware of. That's when Kelly appears as a young adult (but Nick doesn't know its Kelly, only as Apollo), telling him that there may be hope in changing the future. After Nick wakes up, he discovers Apollo was really Kelly under the mask. But prefers to be called "Kel" for short, cause it sounded too "girly" for him.

His agenda in the present isn't just to save his family. He also wanted to bring Juliette back and restoring her to the way she was before as a Hexenbiest.
