Congratulations to the International Womens Day!
When I watch the episodes Skin Deep / Blond Ambition / Maiden Quest then I hear anyone mentioning Pizza. I would instantly wonder if they eat the pizza crust. I did put this as Off-Topic and added these episodes so this discussion could work for On-Topic and Off-Topic discussions.
I’m a huge Grimm fan. I’ve watched the entire series 4 times, I have a “Grimm Wall” in my house.. I absolutely love it. So sad that it was cancelled but supernatural is still on. Smh.
Okay, so I’ve watched the gag reels and deleted scenes. I was iMessaging my mom recently and went to send a “Grimm” gif and stumbled upon one of Nick hugging Adalind in the Nick/Juliette house.
One had some writing like “I’m going to be a father!” I cannot find it anywhere. I looked on all of the dvds, nothing. I’ve looked everywhere online and it’s just started to bug me that it doesn’t seem to exist. I know that it was just the cast having fun and stuff but I really love the funny stuff the did while filming and just want to know where this originated from? Can someone / anyone help me. Lol. PLEASE!
We have not even reached episode 8 of Season 5 and already Adalind and Nick are half in love. The screen writers could have developed that story line more. I get that they have a child together but realistically speaking most relationships are not built on that premise so they could have chosen something else for their romance to go on.
Additionally, the Wesen Council knows of the crap going on with the Black Claw, so they should have beefed up security. Had 3 or 4 persons got up and start shooting I would have understood the logics behind that but one person and there was no one there to do anything to stop it. Additionally no one stopped to checked if persons had weapons. #rolleyes. Another obvious plot twist we all saw coming.
Now that Conrad Bonaparte is dead, there is nobody or nothing that can threaten Adalind and her children's lives anymore! Now she has the chance to go back to the Grimm she fell in love with. Not to mention, bring Kelly back into Nick's life. I don't know about Diana, but she did love Nick's mom, so she might see Nick as a friend.
What's the general feeling about who nick should end up with?? adalind and juliette both have bad history with Nick, I don't no why but I found myself on adalinds side and getting irritated with juliette long before this love triangle.
Yeah we all know Nick's blood doesn't on Adalind since it was already in Adalind's body whenhe re-Wesened. However, now Trubel is back, why not use her blood? Before, since Trubel disappeared they couldn't even try and maybe same method might not work twice. Actually it's more likely since only Hexenbeist out of all Wesen could turn back to human was wierd to start with. Anyway, now they have Trubel, why not even bother to try?
Does anyone else think Adalind's woged form looks remarkably different after the whole losing powers/Contaminatio Ritualis event vs. before? Why would that be?
I kind of think it looks like Frau Pech. Did Adalind "take" Frau Pech's hexenbiest (is that how it works)?
In Season 5 episode 12 Adalind is almost assaulted by Rosalies Ex, but her hexenbiest powers emerge and stop him. Right before that she grabs her lower abdomen as Tony approaches. DOES ANYONE THINK SHES PREGNANT AGAIN AND HER POWERS ARE RETURNING TO PROTECT HER CHILD??????
This new phase in Nick & Adalind's relationship could prompt additional shifts in the show with tons of interesting possibilities. We've seen previously that Adalind received an invite to apply at her old law firm, and ask for more money. Let's face it...she's not exactly the domestic type. But how does she break it to Nick? I imagine she makes a candlelit dinner, breaks open a bottle of wine...
Adalind: I got a call today... It was my old law firm again. They need part time consultants. The money is good...and I really need to get out of the house.
Nick: You know I'm supportive of whatever you want. But who would we trust to watch Kelly?
Adalind: I don't think there's anyone more qualified to defend our child than a Grimm.
Nick: (laughs into his food) What, you want to ask Trubel to be a nanny?!
Adalind looks at him intently. He realizes she's serious.
Nick: Me?! What, interrogate suspects with Kelly on my back? Or...leave the precinct?
Adalind: You could be a Private Investigator. Make your own hours. Besides, you went rogue a long time ago.
Nick: Yeah, and that was even before Rennard...knew... (thinks about what he now knows about Rennard) Actually...maybe that's not a bad idea.
Adalind: (getting excited) Lawyers work with PIs all the time. It could be fun! I could watch Kelly while you collect the evidence, and you could watch him while I put people away! Or get them out...
Nick: (thoughtful pause, warmly) This is not at ALL how I would have imagined getting here...but in some ways, this...familiy...it's what I've always wanted.
Adalind sighs with relief. They both start eating again, smiling. Pan out to the table.
Adalind (looking at her food while taking a bite): Oh, and by the way (zoom back in)...my Hexenbiest powers are back.
Pan to Nick, frozen in disbelief, fork halfway up with mouth gaping... and SCENE!
Okay, now think about ethe possibilites this could open up:
Wu promoted to Hank's partner (granted he survives becoming a werewolf or whatever). They continue to bring Nick & Monrosalee out on cases, but soon have to deal with a new Chief (since Rennard's headed for Mayor) who doesn't know anything about Wesen and may also be trying to spy on Nick for Rennard, though not understanding the full extent of what to look for.
The gang has to figure out what and how much to tell Adalind about all sorts of stuff...hilarity ensues.
Adalind possibly goes to HQ for awkward intimate run-in with Meisner, asks Eve if she still wants any of Juliette's old stuff and gets a black stare...all sorts of fabulous Adalind-ness.
Adalind dredges up some cold cases through clients at work, you might follow a case into the courtroom or negotiations...
And of course we need Adalind's powers in the mix if and when a big Black Claw battle mashup is in the works. Because she's bada$$.
What say you, Grimmsters?
Well, the title sais it all, but c´mon, when is she getting her powers back, for second time (She loses them almost as much as I lose pens xD)? In the promo of the new episode there are fingers breaking without anybody touching them, right when she is looking, but she looked far to surprised to be doing it, an she is not the only one with telekinesis, it could be Diana, Kelly, Sean's mom, another random hexenbiest walking by, probably anyone but Eve, because she would just rip out the hand with a thought, so it doesn't mean anything, although it would be a good twist for the 100th episode
lets recap that actual physical harm done. when comparing the difference between Juliette and Adalind's actions.
From the beginning Adalind was working for personal gain. We will start with the attempt to kill Mari. When she failed the reapers where brought in. She then poisons Hank for personal gain. Again she fails is stripped of her powers. the only way to save Hanks life. Instead of retaliating against who took her powers she attacks his girl friend who would have died if Rosalee and Sean had not intervened. don't forget Adalind was retaliating for what Nick did to save Hanks life, preventing ADalind from being a murder.
For Juliette their is the bar scene. She beats up a guy that thinks buying her drinks makes him entitled to something. He got what he deserved, for the disrespect. yes Juliette caused harm, compared to having your mind toyed with. Can you really say the bar was worse. The mean looks and nasty comments can not cause physical harm. They are adults get over it. In the station baby mama drama so what. Juliette had reason to be upset. Again no physical harm. Juliette's retaliation by burning the trailer, even Juliette admitted that was a little out of control. I will even admit it was way out of control. Like Adalind attacking Juliette with the cat scratch. Both where the result of misplaced anger. The difference Adalind almost killed someone. Her retaliation was against something done to save a life. Juliette destroyed possessions that we now see have been replaced for no other reason then being one angry female.
Lets take the spice shop. Juliette put Monroe in danger but it was never attempted murder. She had control of the gun. Nick has previously stated when she shot at Sean. "If she had wanted to shot him she would. She is a better shot then that". In wesenrein we saw Juliette has no problem pulling the trigger and delivering a deadly shot. If she was going to shot Monroe she would have shot him. Was it cruel to taunt them yes. The argument that they where her friends and the love of her life. When they refused to accept her as a hexenbiest. Insistent she suppress who she was, the friendship ended. Was she justified, that's and opinion. I only want facts. To consider if justified, It should be considered. It is a little much to expect someone to show tolerance and show understanding. When they have been changed permanently. To decide if Juleitte not accepting their offer being right or wrong is subjective. The reason and Justification does not change, that no physical harm occurred. Maybe being slammed against the cabinets would hurt. But monroe is Blutbad, I think it would take more then being slammed to hurt him.
Let's admit when Juliette tormented them, it was out of anger. When Adalind tormented Nick and Hank. It was for personal gain. Lets look at how Adalind handles romantic rejection. She sleeps with Sean, has his child, then sells the child for her powers back. Sure she changed her mind. But she went as far as signing the contract. Even if it is void. She still signed it. showing intent.
Then we have the biggie. Kelly's death. Might I remind you. That all started with Adalind telling the Royals that Kelly had Diana. Diana was given to Kelly in the first place to protect her. Viktor vowed to kill all of them till he got Diana. That whole argument that Adalind would have been a good mother. or it is cruel taking a child from it's mother. They all exclude the how where they going to keep Diana and not die. I can only figure the ones advocating Adalind should have keep Diana don't believe Viktor would have killed everyone. I think the dead leader of the varette might have a different opinion. After being lied to and tortured. Viktor buys Adalind new cloths now she is all on board to help get Kelly to come back to Portland. Remember Adalind was so intent on getting Kelly to return. She went to the house to beat the information about Kelly out of Juliette. Does Nick even realize he is now actually sleeping with the one who identified his mom. Set in motion that Juleitte was the key to contacting Kelly. The amazing part Adalind even tells Sean, Viktor is going to kill them once he has Diana. But she still continues to side with the Roylas. Till the Roylas throw her to a pissed off Juleitte.
With no where else to run, her fault or not. Juleitte turns to the Roylas and helps complete Adalinds plain. Here is another thing, Adalind is sleeping with Nick whose mother killed hers. Does she realize she is against the women that avenged her mothers death. That may not have been Juliette intent. But Juliette did kill Adalind's mother killer.
lets total the actual harm created. Emotional harm is subjective and can't be quantified. Adalind had two attempted murders for personal gain. Mari and Hank with hank suffering physical harm. You have the attempted murder on juliette as revenge against Nick. A case of misplaced anger that should have been directed toward Nick. sold her child. She recanted but she still followed through. Put into motion what ended in the death of Kelly.
Juliette she burnt the trailer, another example of misplaced anger. The result is lost of valuable property. Adalinds attack ended in physical harm to Juliette. Juliette only other act causing physical harm was participating in the completion of what Adalind started.
This entire post recounts events. It does not include any subjective acts. it only includes only things that have a physical documentable result. unlike the previous response there are no opinions are emotional justifications. Both of which would be subjective. Fact for fact finding Juliette worse has no merit.
