For that matter, she wouldn't have slept with him later on. </p><p>Fourth, there was never anything mentioned by Adalind that she held any kind of respect for Kelly. This would be especially true once she found out it was Kelly who took Diana. </p><p>Fifth, I always thought Adalind took Nick's powers away as a form of revenge for Nick taking her baby. At least it was revenge and it was understandable. I had thought she was seeking revenge because of this statement. Adalind never mentioned Viktor but apparently this statement was a throwback to that. </p><p>That said, however, it does not appear that Adalind is so naive as to be tricked by Viktor and remain under that delusion until she marched into the precinct. Viktor lied to her about Diana, but his conversation with her was not all lies. There was truth there. Nick did take her powers and Adalind's actions show that she did not take that kindly. Viktor makes a pointed statement about returning the favor. Even so, I don't see where Adalind ever voiced any indication of honor or reverence for Kelly. The interesting thing about this is, even when she tells Nick she's naming the baby, Kelly, she doesn't utter one sentence to show her revence for mother Kelly. That would have been the perfect opportunity to gain an insight of what mother Kelly meant to her.  </p><p>Nick himself doesn't even comment upon it. He just says, "okay". </p><p>And the truth of the matter, why would Adalind have any type of reverence or honor for Kelly? Kelly kidnapped her baby. Giving honor to that woman makes Adalind appear false and pretentious. I would say that instead of having no other options, she simply didn't consider any other options. And of course, the storyline would be different if she did. But it still comes down to one thing. She planned the suppression potion thing out and took it to Nick. The thing that did happen is, once they moved into the fome, Nick was sleeping with Adalind, at her request. Nick was protecting her, at her request. Those are not the actions of a hexenbiest who's afraid of the Grimm. </p>
