Lucille55 wrote: From Grimm Wiki transcripts: As they speak, a thug threatens them; Adalind woges into her Hexenbiest form and kills the thug.

I’m referring to what was shown on screen. Adalind was taking to Renard when a thug approached them. Adalind said something like “I will take care of this”. She walked towards the thug while woging. We then heard screaming, but exactly why was left to the imagination. Did she kill him, did she beat the crap out of him, or did he just freak out and run away?

Lucille55 wrote: She killed a thug and would have killed Marie, had Nick not stopped her. She would have killed Hank had Nick not stopped her.

Again, we have no information about killing a thug. She tried to kill Marie but failed. She placed Hank in a coma to trade his life for the key.

Lucille55 wrote: There are plenty of examples, before and after this statement, where Adalind showed no fear: Consider these:

I am considering them, and they all have elements of Adalind fearing Nick in them. I will get to them in a minute, bur first I want to take about Nick’s first encounter with Adalind. After she woged, she seemed nervous and later told Nick he had “scared the hell out of her”. When he questioned her in the next episode, she seemed extremely nervous, telling Nick: “If something happens to me, it won't just be a Grimm killing a Hexenbiest. It'll be a cop who's let an innocent woman die on his watch”.

Lucille55 wrote: Adalind deliberately hooked up with Hank, even had dinner with Nick and company. No fear there.

She did that to get to the key. Having dinner with Nick and company was safe, because Juliette and Hank did not know Juliette was a Hexenbiest and Nick could not kill her in front of them - or in public display.

Lucille55 wrote: Adalind met Nick alone in the forest before he took her biest spirit. No fear there.

She did that to trade the key. She did not expect Nick to turn down the offer. When he pinned her to the ground, she gave a whimper in fear, and when he kissed her, she freaked out and bet his lip.

Lucille55 wrote: Adalind poisoned Juliette. No fear of Nick there even though Juliette was his live in girlfriend.

Adalind threw herself on the first plane to Vienna… When Nick came looking, she was no wear to be found.

Lucille55 wrote: Adalind sneaked into Nick's house, masquerading as Juliette, and slept with Nick. Obviously no fear there.

She was, as you said yourself, masquerading as Juliette. When Nick found out, she was gone. As before, she threw herself on the first plane to Vienna.

Lucille55 wrote: Adalind barged into the police precinct and told Nick she was carrying his kid. No fear there.

She did that because her fear of Juliette killing her was even bigger. She used the pregnancy and suppression potion to bargain with Nick for protection. When Adalind thought Juliette was human again, she was convinced Nick would kill her:

Adalind: What happened with Juliette? She drank it, didn't she? It worked. I saved her. And now you're here to get rid of me.

Nick: Adalind, I'm not gonna hurt you.

Adalind: Well, why not?

Lucille55 wrote: Adalind went willingly with Nick into his house and then to the fome with him. No fear there.

That happened AFTER Nick had been helping her and she had given birth to his child. Everyting changed radically from the end of season 4. Adalind was, however, somewhat concerned about what Nick would do when her powers returned:

Adalind: I should've told you sooner.

Nick: Well, you're telling me now.

Adalind: I wanted to. I tried. I really did. I just got too scared.

Nick: I told you I would never hurt you.

Adalind: People change their mind, Nick.

Nick: I lost my mom when I was 12. And then I got her back, and... I lost her again. I would never do that to Kelly.

It was first after that conversation that Adalind trusted Nick unconditionally.

Lucille55 wrote: I don't recall Adalind making any statement about how much she admired and respected Kelly. And let's just take this a little bit further. Adalind never once talks to Diana about all of the respect she had for Kelly. In point of fact, there's such lack of respect that Diana doesn't even know her "other mommy's" name.

Well, you are mistaken.

Adalind to Nick: Hey, I'm sorry about your mom. I know how much that hurts. She died trying to save my daughter.

Adalind to Diana: I need you to get a message to Kelly's daddy, Nick. His mommy helped raise you when you were a little girl, remember? Well, he needs our help now.

Diana to Eve: Sometimes I miss my other mommy too.
Her name is Kelly, just like my brother's.

By the way, I’m not saying Adalind was constantly terrified of Nick. She was even teasing and flirting with him at one point (in the prison cell), but she had a lot of respect for the Grimm and was in no way fearless of him. That’s one of the reasons she came to Nick for protection as well- she considered Nick someone who could ACTALLY protect her.
